Bisson Glera Frizzante, Marca Trevigiana, Veneto, Italy 2024

Enoteca Bisson was founded by Pierluigi Lugano in 1978. Lugano cultivates indigenous varieties on steep slopes of the Mediterranean in the Liguria region. For this project, however, Lugano is working with his good friend Eli Spagnol of Torre Zecchei in the elite Valdobbiadene district of the Veneto, tailoring a racy, vivid, beautifully brisk wines. Made using careful temperature regulation in order to preserve delicacy and freshness,  this frizzante is everything you want of a warm day, notes of acacia honey, white flowers, crunchy green apples, and tart nectarines atop a subtly mineral underlay.
