The Boxler family has been making dry & powerful styles of wine since 1673 & is still family-run by Jean Boxler.  And when we say powerful, we do not mean big and oaky, these wines demand the presence of the table.  The Grand Cru bottlings are exquisite with 5-10 years of age.  There is so much depth and energy to every sip.  We highly recommend taking a few for your cellar.  The Dudenstein bottling, produced only in great years, represents the pinnacle of Boxler’s wine-growing prowess and without any doubt is one of Alsace’s finest Rieslings.  Pairing: Choucroute Garnie, oysters, sushi Grape: Riesling, 65 year old vines Soil: Granite  viticulture: Organic
