Cloth-backed chromolithograph boards. NY: White, Stokes & Allen, 1887. A lovely volume in a series of 10 little cookbooks by Thomas Murrey. Here, Murrey provides recipes for sick patients, like arrow-root gruel, mutton broth, eggnog with brandy, wine whey, steamed milk, Champagne frappe (!), stewed tripe with oysters, and dry toast. Minor rubbing to boards, else very good.
