Each of these monitors has two of our proprietary RS5 full range drivers in our "high output" configuration. One driver runs full range with no crossover and the other has a low pass filter which gently rolls off frequencies above 200Hz. The result? All of the speed, point source accuracy and holographic mid-range of our RS5 driver with added bass, dynamics and efficiency. This particular pair was placed in our Super Alnico Monitor (SAM) cabinet for even better low-end response while still remaining nice and compact. Plus, like all Omega speakers, this pair is finished in a furniture grade real wood veneer and is made BY HAND right here in the USA.
