It is a favorite of gourmets and chefs best used as a finishing salt. Salt production in Anfeh is carried out in a traditional and artisanal manner. WAJD’s sea salt is sun-dried, crystallized in natural sea salt ponds, carefully harvested using traditional wooden tools and then broken into smaller crystals. WAJD’s Fleur de Sel is hand harvested by skimming just the finest crystals from the surface. Once dried, salt is collected in bags, sorted and cleaned from any dust or impurities, weighed and packaged. Sprinkle just before serving.
