Vanilla is here, but it’s not too sweet or overwhelming. It’s comforting with a soft and creamy presence where the lactonic, milky notes are only slightly sugared, staying consistent throughout the wear. Get a hint of spice? Maybe a cinnamon? That’s the heliotrope, peeking back in again.   Notes include sugar vanilla, heliotrope, vanilla absolute, milk. Comptoir Sud Pacifique is a French house launched in 1974. Many of its scents are inspired by the islands of the South Pacific, and its founders were inspired to create fragrances after a trip to Polynesia.
