Unbranded Antique Raised 7 Cast Iron Skillet Gate Mark Groove Handle

An antique 19th century cast iron skillet with raised number 7 on the groove handle. Single pour spout, gate mark and 3 notches on the heat ring at handle. Size 10" diameter at rim x 1.5" deep... length 15"... weight 2 lb. 14 oz. Old used condition with pitting to the bottom and non-spout side wall. The interior is smooth. Slag remains in the groove handle, casting mark to interior bottom - no cracks. Sits well with some movement side to side, about a 1/16" - not serious warp. This pan had the years of buildup removed by lye bath and seasoned once with vegetable oil.
