Gatco Fine Diamond Sharpening Hone

Gatco Fine Diamond Sharpening Hone (model 16003) Gatco's Fine diamond hone is the finest diamond Gatco provides.  It produced a nice toothy working edge for your knives.  While the polish will be finer than with your other diamond hones, diamonds scratch more aggressively so put in much deeper scratches leaving a more cloudy and toothy finish to your edge than what you would get with a comparable ceramic hone.   Like all Gatco handles it has their patent pending adjustable sliding guide rod and finger protection rails.   This stone is included in both of Gatco's diamond kits: the Gatco Edgemate Diamond Knife Sharpening System and the Gatco Edgemate Ultimate Diamond Knife Sharpening System
