This gem was just radically reduced in price.  Just amazing, will be beautiful mounted. Surrounded by pearls or diamonds this will be a world class piece of jewelry.  Cab is rounded on both sides, no flat side. Ask us about mounting or use your master jeweler. 14.92 carats. Large teardrop shaped 2-sided cabochon, Watermelon colored Amazing Luster, color and clarity. Translucent single color rhodochrosite in watermelon candy red is rare without inclusions in this almost transparent gem.  American award winning gem cutter cut and polished this "candy like," 2 sided cabochon is the rarest form of Argentinian Rhodochrosite which is the semi transparent material.  Just magical! VS (there is one tiny inclusion that is minuscule and would be easily covered by a mounting. You will have to look well to even locate this one tiny white dimple on the side of the gem. More than 9
