The Ohhunt®Ultralight QD End Plate & Castle Nut set is precision machined from 7075-T6 Aluminum, 7075-T6 aluminum is one of the strongest aluminum alloys available because of its high strength-to-weight ratio and improved strength over 6061 alloys.  Machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminum for improved strength and reliability, Matching machined castle cuts on both End Plate and Castle Nut. CNC Machined single pass threads. Fits Mil-Spec(1.148") buffer tubes. QD point for quick detach sling. Hardcoat anodized finish. Lightweight design, overall weight 0.4oz. Includs: 1x QD End Plate 1x Castle Nut Installation Note: We recommend wrapping the castle nut with blue painter's tape to maintain the finish and reduce marring during installation.
