A gorgeous slab of rainbow fluorite with bands of green, purple, blue, clear, and a small strip of yellow. Fabulous banding in this one. Weighs 1.194 lbs, 5.75"x4.25"x.5" Did you know Pure Fluorite is colorless; the color variations are caused by various impurities. Some colors are deeply colored and are especially pretty in large well-formed crystals, which Fluorite often forms. Sometimes coloring is caused by hydrocarbons, which can be removed from a specimen by heating.
