Userkaf's reign marked a period of transition and religious reform in Egyptian history. Userkaf is believed to have been the son of pharaoh Khentkaus I and the founder of the royal line of the Fifth Dynasty. His Horus name, "User," translates to "Powerful of Ka," emphasizing his connection to the divine life force.
