Cutting crosscuts in very small stock, can be challenging with our regular-sized Joinery Crosscut saw. It can be done, but I wanted a better saw for this application. That is why I designed my 3/4 Joinery Crosscut saw. As compared to my regular-sized Joinery Crosscut, the 3/4 Joinery Crosscut Saw has a thinner saw plate, smaller teeth, shallower depth of cut, and shorter overall length, which makes delicate crosscuts a breeze. My 3/4 Joinery Crosscut Saw is perfect for cutting tiny miters, very small tenon shoulders, the shoulders of tiny tail boards, or anytime you are crosscutting 3/8 inch thick or less stock. Like our regular-sized Joinery Crosscut Saw, the 3/4 Joinery Crosscut saw leaves a smooth, ready-to-glue, finished surface. I designed my 3/4 Joinery Crosscut saw with a thin .015 inch blade; 22 teeth per inch (TPI), filed crosscut along the entire tooth line; and a minimal .002 inch set per side.
