Orchid Spec Open - The Open Sided Speculum In 2024, 300 teaching hospitals across the United States received this Open-Sided Speculum integrated into the NovaSure® training simulator for endometrial ablation procedures.  This initiative is part of a collaborative effort between Hologic, Inc., Inovus Medical, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL). The partnership is dedicated to advancing the training of OB-GYN residents in minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries, aiming to enhance their skills and improve patient care. The Orchid Speculum is a high-quality and robust plastic speculum with single-handed operation and locking and rounded patient-friendly edges. This Open-Sided speculum further extends the possibilities, allowing a wider range of procedures to be executed in outpatient settings.
