2' Tube Kit

  This simple, 2' Probe Kit comes with an 8" handle, 12" soil tube with replaceable, screw-on Regular Soil Tip and a 12" extension rod.  Parts are easily taken apart for convenient, compact storage and carrying in durable 13" fiberboard case. The probe will take a core approximately 8" long by 3/4" in width. The outer diameter of the tube is 15/16".  The tube is designed to eliminate friction in the tube after cutting the sample. The tube has a non-clogging design with a cut-out in the front to allow for easy soil removal, visual inspection, and cleaning. The sample is unloaded from the tube without binding or compacting. It is marked at 6" intervals to indicate sampling depth.
