Slight | A SPHERICON Light Fixture

The Slight is a hanging 3D-printed lamp that diffuses light through its translucent Voronoi tessellated cells. Casting stunning shadows on the wall and ceiling, the cells follow the surface of a Sphericon volume. The Sphericon skeletal version is made of two perpendicular half-circles where the center of each circle lies on the center of the other one. The LED strip lights are hidden around the two congruent semi-circular edges of the Sphericon. By detaching the male-to-female wire connector, the Slight can be rolled on a tilted surface while moving from side to side surprisingly and entertainingly (as its circular edges touch the tilted surface). The Slight rolls until the inertia is over.
