This is a "potash spar", widely used in ceramics for both clay bodies and glazes. Feldspars are common minerals in rocks, making up around 41% of the Earth's crust. There are many types and subtypes of feldspar. The supplier doesn't specify the mesh, but it's probably 200 or 325. The Digital Fire ceramics resource says: "This is one of the main feldspars used in the ceramic industry...such as abrasives, sanitary ware, floor and wall tile, dinnerware, pottery, and electrical porcelain.
