The adjustable rotor opening can accommodate a variety of Sharps sizes. The rotor lid provides temporary closure when the 2 gallon container is not in use and permanent closure for final disposal. The lid locks for final disposal, and the empty container can be nested to save storage space. The plastics and pigments used to make the container are safe for autoclaving or incineration.
