Amazing Antique French Monastery Kneeling Prayer Altar Kneeler Circa 1840

SOLD This is a spectacular French Monastery kneeling prayer altar. Spectacular carving is one of the highlights of this great piece. It also has a lift top upper cupboard, a lift top lower cupboard on the kneeling section, and a cabinet door in the center section. The top cupboard and center cabinet both lock with a beautiful key. The lower cupboard does not have a lock. This piece dates back to about 1840.The kneeler is in excellent condition with some minor age appropriate wear. It is 23" wide, 23" deep and 38" tall.
