Item Details For use with OMC Cobra V8 GM 5.7L 350 & Ford 5.8L 351 engines 1987-1993. 1986 Model years used a different casing that even though they are compatible with those years, you need to swap out a few parts (anode at the base of the front of the gearcase) to make them compatible. Compatible with GM 5.7L & Ford 5.8L applications. 21/16T Gear ratio Model Number 985689 (stamped in plate) / 986381 (equivalent) No leaks or bad seals found after pressure testing. Freshwater Used Part I have included a picture of the impeller that is currently installed. It should be fine, but it is up to your discretion as to whether or not you replace it. You will need to add your own rear water pump cover (obviously not pictured) This gearcase has been cleaned & repainted.
