Outer squares and french hooks are oxidized sterling silver (pictured) or high polished sterling silver (.925). A set of rubber earring backs are included.  Measurement(s): 1.0” long by 1/2” wide. Description/Artist Notes: Vermeil is a type of gold finish that is composed of a thick layer of gold over solid sterling silver. The thickness of the gold portion must be a hefty 2.5 microns. The gold vermeil squares are hammered by hand and raised from the sterling silver, for depth and texture.
