This attachment prevents the transducer and stud from breaking when an off-axis load is used during compression testing. The attachment consists of two parts: the ball and the socket. Both parts are equipped with an M6 thread which mounts directly to the DFS and DFS-X small capacity gauges. The Male and Female Ball sockets and M6 studs are made from stainless steel.
