St. Mary’s Glacier Hike

Difficulty: Easy/Moderate Location: Idaho Springs, Colorado This is a short hike with stunning views and incredible natural elements. Description: From the immediate start of the trail, we’ll be hiking up a steady incline. While less than a mile, it is moderate incline that will last the entirety of the hike to the lake. The trail winds us through a beautiful, thick forest of greenery on all sides. Once the trail levels out, we’ll see the start of the lake, where it’s almost impossible not to stand in awe of this picturesque landscape. From here, we’ll take a short jaunt around the lake and up to the glacier for a gorgeous view of the valley and lake below. Finally, we’ll enjoy a snack and warm beverages as we take in the fresh mountain air and panoramic views.
