What’s your favorite mythological creature? We’re partial to manticores ourselves. For those of you who think that’s a deep sea creature, allow us to explain what it actually is so you’re envisioning the right thing. A manticore has the body of a lion, a human head with three rows of sharp fangs, a pair of huge bat wings, and a voice that sounds like a trumpet. Got the mental picture? Good. Did you know that manticores are actually real animals? We didn’t until last year when we stumbled across an illegal manticore mill in our neighbor’s basement. All this time, he told us that he the conductor of the local trumpets only orchestra - and we believed him! He wasn’t really rehearsing at all hours of the day, he was really just keeping a bunch of manticores locked away in his cellar. What a jerk.
