Louis C. Tiffany Daffodil Vase

Our Tiffany Daffodil Vase expands when filled with water to be the perfect complement to flowers.  Without danger of breaking, chipping, or scratching, our clever, collapsible, and elegant vase is a celebration of innovative design and a foolproof way to dress up a bouquet. The vase was adapted from the Louis C. Tiffany Daffodil Hanging Shade in the museum's collection, and was designed by Clara Driscoll (1861 - 1944).  Driscoll was the manager of the women who selected and cut glass at Tiffany Studios. Their story was revealed in the groundbreaking exhibition A New Light on Tiffany: Clara Driscoll and the Tiffany Girls, and is celebrated in the Museum's Gallery of Tiffany Lamps, a stunning and immersive display space for New-York Historical's exceptional Tiffany collection.
