Among the People Series The 4th book in the Among the People series by Clara Dillingham Pierson. An introduction for children to the animals and insects of the wetlands. Each chapter is a story about a different animal including a frog, water spiders, a turtle, a dragon-fly, and many more. The stories provide both information about the animals and an inspirational moral lesson for the reader. First published in 1901, this edition is derived from the original book with 12 black and white illustrations and numerous page decorations by F. C.
