About the Design: This print features a folk art inspired bobwhite quail, walking inside a thicket of thistle, aster, and english plantain. The design was inspired by the piedmont area of North Carolina, and I love the final result. Fantastic gift for sportsman who enjoy quail hunting, or nature lovers in general.  I've done several editions of this print-- including some shades of blue and full color artist proofs.  This color is a rich, dark, bluish green. It's an edition of 34 prints, and will be the last prints I pull from this block.  Item Details: This particular print is made from a hand carved “soft kut” printmaking block. The interior area of this artwork measures approximately 8.5 Inches wide by 11 inches tall. Includes a custom cut, acid free matboard and backing board which measures 12x16 on the exterior and will fit into widely available standard frames.
