Viola 'Etain'

This violet is a good choice for adding elegant color and shape to a shady location. The pale yellow 1¾“ blossoms have  fine contrasting lavender edges that are simply a delight to look at for their delicate coloration and appearance. ‘Etain’ is a timeless variety because it is a heavy bloomer from spring to summer and still puts out flowers sporadically until the end of the growing season. Unlike many violets that act as a ground cover, ‘Etain’ forms small 6-8 inch clumps that can be divided every 2-3 years.  Photo Credit: Walters Gardens
