Anthemis 'Charme' - Dwarf Golden Marguerite
We got Anthemis ‘Charme’ because we wanted to add another plant for mass planting and container planting to our catalog. Each plant grows in a uniform symmetrical mound that is pleasing on its own, but really shines when filling a larger area. In early summer hundreds of 1” canary yellow blooms pop over the surface of the plant creating a dramatic effect in combination with the deep green symmetrical foliage. This bloom period can be extended with deadheading. Anthemis does well in poor, well drained soils. Too much fertilizer or high quality soil will result in the plants becoming leggy and not retaining their symmetrical shape. Works well in container plantings filling out an 18-20 inch 4-5 gallon pot nicely in a growing season. Photo Credit: Walters Garden Inc.
