Where in Tetris, players had to fit together oddly shaped blocks, in Wordtris, players get blocks of uniform size and shape with letters on that they must use to make words. Just as in Tetris, once players have made a word, up, down or across, the word diappears and the other blocks move down to take up the space.Scoring is based on the size of the word made. If the falling letters make new words, the size of the point award increases. The game also includes, like Tetris music and pictures that change as players move through the game levels and was created by Alexander (Alexi) Pajitnov.Maniac Sports allows players to see, hear and experience nine different extreme sports. The featured sports include bungee jumping, rock climbing, skateboarding, windsurfing, sky diving, skiing, kayaking, surfing and mountain biking. Each sport comes with an area showing professionals of that sport, the problems that can arise from doing the sport, the equipment you will need, the history of that extreme sport and even trainers who show you what you really need to know. There is also a section marked "GO". That will take you to where you can try out that extreme sport yourself.Finally, there is another area accessible from the sports area. It is called "Mondo Rock", and has the player trying to guide their rock climber to the top of "Mondo Rock", a very tall mountain.
