Your mission: save the garden by eliminating hordes of attacking insects that have been unleashed by ugly creatures. 3D Bug Attack brings the action of the Arcade to your PC screen in colorful 3D perspective.Five main weapons are available as you try to withstand the onslaught of a large group of enemy insects, each with unique attributes. Weapons are gained by capturing the appropriate icon during game play as they appear randomly on the battlefield. Included in the arsenal are knives, double knives, mines, missiles, and a Chinese Star. The enemies attack with diversity. For example, the segmented centipedes twist their way downward (just as in Centipede but in 3D) to attack; a midsection hit will spawn new centipedes while a head shot will eliminate the offending marauder. Ants and ladybugs scurry across the screen horizontally, leaving mushrooms, some indestructible. Butterflies and beetles come at you vertically, leaving trails of plants and other items along their path. Deadly fast spiders bounce along the bottom of the screen.Within the garden (battlefield), a myriad of weapon-stoppers and detours dot the landscape. Included are such items as mushrooms, flowers, pumpkins, apples, and baby chicks. Dying wasps leave trails of detritus as they fall from the top of the screen. After every third level, a bonus level filled with falling insects gives the player the opportunity to amass extra points. 3D Bug Attack is played using a keyboard, mouse, or joystick.
