These elegant earrings are made from real butterfly wings set in a silver diamond shaped frame and coated in jewelers grade resin. The Idea Leuconoe Obscura butterfly, also known as the "Paper Kite", ranges from 3-4 inches in wingspan. Their wings act as windows allowing light to pass through them for a lovely translucent effect.  Our butterfly wings are obtained through a cruelty free process after the insects' natural passing.
