New to beekeeping? Have lots of questions? Don’t have time to join a club or find a mentor? Come to our Beekeeper Working Group! Beginning in June, every Tuesday at 10 a.m. (weather permitting) beekeepers who have purchased our five frame nucs, or new beekeepers interested in buying our bees in 2024, will gather here at our farm in Flemington, NJ and join us as we work our home apiary. The rain date will be Thursday of the same week. We’ll be working on whatever the bees need: mite treatments/alcohol washes, hive inspections, queen assessments. Two hours. You bring your own jacket and/or suit, we’ll provide nitrile gloves and hive tools. Space is limited. Participants will be required to sign a waiver before the session.
