The Swick Pinot Noir Willamette Valley 2022 is a natural wine produced by Joe Swick, a fifth-generation Oregonian winemaker. This wine is crafted from organically grown Pinot Noir grapes sourced from the Cancilla Vineyard in northwest Willamette Valley and the Silvershot Vineyard in Eola-Amity AVA. The winemaking process involves semi-carbonic fermentation with indigenous yeast and aging for 10 months in five-year-old 500L barrels. It is bottled without fining or filtration, with minimal sulfur added. The wine features flavors of dark cherries, mushrooms, damp earth, red cherry, dried strawberries, black pepper, and iron ore.
