Technological Windy City - #636 24” quilt hoop

This is a handcrafted, one-of-a-kind embroidery hoop inspired by the landscapes of cities, more specifically the skyline of Chicago, IL. This piece also glows in the dark! It feature's: -the piece shown mounted in a 24” 24mm quilt (beechwood) hoop -hand quilted landscape made of various cotton calico and batik fabrics, embroidery floss, glass beads, sequins, and metallic thread. -Glow in the dark beads and SULKY GLOWY thread - various RAM chips - a 1987 commemorative keychain from the Gatorade Windy City Classic (a cubs game)   My work is directly inspired by nature and the beauty of places I’ve lived or visited.
