"The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from a mix of top sites (To Kolan, Dr. Crane, Thomas, Sunshine, Georges III, etc.) and is 100% varietal aged in 80% new French oak. It has classic crème de cassis fruit as well as complex tobacco leaf, violet, sappy herb, and earthy nuances. This medium to full-bodied, balanced beauty has good acidity, plenty of tannins, and a solid mix of both elegance and richness. It’s an ageworthy release that’s going to benefit from 3-4 years of bottle age and keep for two decades.
