White Star Line:  A thirty-six page interiors brochure covering First Class on the MAJESTIC. The brochure is dated May 2, 1922, just eight days before the MAJESTIC'S maiden voyage to New York.  The MAJESTIC was the largest ship in the world and remained so until another grand vessel, NORMANDIE, took the title in 1935.   The dozens of photos shown here are of grand public rooms built to a scale to impress. Models poising in languid positions are dwarfed by the soaring First Class Lounge, the 250-foot vista through the Palm Court to the a la carte restaurant, the domed First Class Dining Room, and the Pompeian Swimming Bath with its upper level viewing balcony. Elegant cabins such as the Regal Suite with its Sun Veranda are shown, as is a view of the long Promenade Deck. A note indicates four times around equaled one mile.   At the back of the brochure are two pics of a much less elaborate Second Class. I count thirty-five photos total.  Good condition with light cover wear.
