BELORUSSIYA Class - Deluxe mid-1970s intro brochure

Black Sea Shipping Company: A twelve-page brochure printed in the mid-1970s when this class of deluxe cruise ferries was introduced - BELORUSSIYA, GRUZIA, AZERBAYDZHAN, KAZAKHSTAN, and KARELIYA. Built in Finland, they were handsome vessels that were the largest car ferries afloat at the time. The brochure opens to a large color portrait and moves on to show simple plans of five decks. A Russian-made Lada is shown driving off one of the sisters next to a photo of two Ladas parked on a beach enjoying the salt air. Knowing the car's reputation, they probably dissolved into rust in situ. Interiors views show colorful decor, tight cabins, and lots of slot machine fed by bell-bottom-wearing models. Excellent condition.
