Class Description This class is equally useful for parents just entering the toddler stage (12 months+) and those who are already deep in it. Toddler-hood is a time when the rubber meets the road for many parents. Suddenly we have a little person on our hands with a powerful will, poor impulse control and an avalanche of strong feelings. Our toddlers can push us to our limits and cause us to wonder at how to do this parent thing. Using tools drawn from respectful parenting approaches like RIE® and Hand in Hand Parenting, this workshop will help you understand what your toddler is experiencing, how his or her brain works, and what she or he is developmentally capable of in this tumultuous and tender time.
