Volume 1 of this journal was first issued in 1951. Each of the early volumes contained 12 numbers (no. 1-12) sold monthly by subscription. Volumes 9-14 contain only 6 numbers per volume. The final number (vol. 14, no. 6), issued in December 1964, is the 50th anniversary issue. As the editor, August Roth, was 84 years of age when the 50th anniversary issue was published, it appears the second series of this journal ends with that issue. The final number states this is
