The fruit has a rough brown peel with a pale yellow to an earthy brown colored flesh with a grainy texture akin to that of a well-ripened pear. The fruit has an exceptionally sweet, malty flavor.  We grow Hasya, Morena, Alano, Gigantia, and a late maturing round variety (no name)  - each variety matures at different times of the year (Jan to June).
