Martin and I are very excited to find a new Hunter Valley shiraz for our collection. Like all good Hunter Valley shiraz, it's elegant, smooth and well balanced. The tannins are subtle, with plum, spice and even a bit of black pepper on the finish. The fruit is still bright and delicious. This wine will certainly go another 10 years - if you can wait that long! Maybe do what we do... buy two cases and keep one to enjoy in 10 years time.
