Native to Bolivia, this slow-growing species is relatively rare in the orchid world. When in bloom, this orchid erupts in a spray of large flowers speckled in mahogany and yellow that last several weeks. When these plants get larger, they should be slab-mounted to grow with the leaves hanging down, preferably during the spring months of April or May. The roots have lots of hairs, indicating that this species likes to be on the moist side. Water this plant just as the moss dries out or approaches dryness. 【pic 4 for your reference only, you’ll receive a similar plant but may not the exact one shown 】
