I adore Alexandrite - that amazing purplish hue and color changing quality under different lighting conditions never fails to get noticed. Since it is lab grown, it has all of the beauty of a natural Alexandrite stone, along with the color-changing properties but it is far more affordable and doesn't have any inclusions or flaws! I set the stone myself in a high quality gold plated (nickel free) setting, and then constructed the band in 14k GF wire and beads.
