VZ Custom Guitars is a one-man shop building just 15-20 custom guitars each year, and this particular Tele-style model was crafted in 2024. It features a set of Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound pickups, known for their high output and raw tone. Designed with 1/4" diameter pole pieces, the bridge pickup delivers powerful mids, sharp treble bite, and enough output to rival humbuckers and hot P-90s—perfect for fusion or heavier rock. The matching STR-3 neck pickup offers similar tone and output, using slightly smaller 3/16" pole pieces and a chrome-plated brass cover.
