100 open-pollinated, non-gmo, pesticide-free, and heirloom Boston pickling cucumber seeds (Cucumis sativus) per packet. Dating back to 1800s. Grows to 3-6 inches. Great for canning and pickling. Blunt end. Direct sow 2+ weeks after last frost and when day air temps are 65-75F. Sow 4-5 seeds 0.5-1 in deep in small mounds. Place 18 in apart. Germination takes 7-14 days. Needs direct sun and cannot withstand frost. Cover seedlings in case of cold. Keep soil moist. Provide trellis for support or let sprawl. Takes 55-60 days to reach maturity. Plant with radishes to avoid pests.
