"Tree" Mirror

A graceful, stylized tree, with sinuous , black trunk and curving limbs, stands tall, in "faux painted" wood grain against rich shades of honeyed brown, caramel and cream. Contemporary but organic; a  neutral accent choice for dining, living , hall or bedroom. The beveled mirror with surround of grain painted wood measures approx. 42" tall X 19.5 wide, approx 1" deep.  As taught by an old master in Stockholm, to produce the wood grain appearance,  an under layer of sealing stain or paint is applied, after which a  pigment  is mixed with a milk-based emulsion and   brushed, combed or sponged on.
