Originally produced by Benrus, Bulova, and Waltham, these watches were based on a US government specification from that era. While many original models used a 15 or 16 jewel movement, this updated version boasts a 24-jewel movement for improved accuracy. Historical Inspiration In January 2009, MWC was approached by a US veterans association to recreate a watch similar to those used during the Vietnam War. After examining samples and original specifications, the result was a watch very close to the original, using a high-grade fully jeweled mechanical movement. Following the success of this project, MWC was contacted again to create a limited edition model in black PVD steel.
