Record up to 16 tracks of external sources plus four busses at up to 192 kHz using the internal 256GB SSD and up to two SD cards. Route unique mixes to the crew and camera while using headphones and a headset. In addition to the large channel knobs, channel trims, PFL switches, and transport joystick, the 888's handles and integrated 1/4"-20 threads allow it to be carried in a sound bag, mounted on a camera or tripod, or even slung from a shoulder or neck strap. A sunlight-readable color touchscreen also guarantees easy access to all settings. The 888 is designed with eight ultralow-noise, high-gain mic/line preamps, 16 channels of Dugan Automixing, strong routing, and sophisticated sonic processing to deliver optimal audio performance and workflow efficiency.
