Shure BETA 27 Supercardioid Side-Address Condenser Microphone for Instrument and Vocal Applications The Shure BETA 27 Supercardioid Condenser Microphone is a professionally designed side-address microphone that comes featuring a large gold-layered diaphragm, and a natural frequency response that's very well suited intended for capturing vocals and instruments in recording and live sound applications. The Beta 27's supercardioid polar pattern is made as the most effective in minimizing off-axis noise and feedback. A 3-position low frequency roll off filter switch is capable of minimizing the low frequency noise, and a -15 dB pad switch maximizes headroom and also capturing transient peaks at the same time. Supercardioid polar pattern specifically targets the sound source consistently with greatly minimized bleed from off-axis sound sources Tailored for superior transient response from a low-mass, 1" externally-biased, ultra-thin 24K gold-layered Mylar diaphragm Flat, neutral frequency response for natural reproduction on stage or in the studio 3-position switchable low-frequency filter helps reduce unwanted background noise or counteract proximity effect for consistent, extended low frequency -15 dB switchable attenuator handles extremely high SPLs with ease Premium electronic components and gold-plated internal and external connectors Internal pop filter with three separate mesh layers reduces wind and breath noise Specifications Microphone Capsule Condenser Diaphragm 1" / 25.40 mm Polar Pattern Supercardioid Pad -15 dB High-Pass Filter 115 Hz, 6 dB/Octave80 Hz, 18 dB/Octave Performance Frequency Range 20 Hz to 20 kHz Maximum SPL 134 dB SPL140 dB SPL Impedance 160 Ohms Sensitivity 14.3 mV/Pa at 1 kHz Dynamic Range 126 dB132 dB Signal-to-Noise Ratio 85.5 dB A-Weighted Equivalent Noise Level 8.5 dB A-Weighted THD 1% Connectivity Output Connectors (Analog) 1 x XLR 3-Pin Power Operating Voltage 48 V Operating Current Consumption 6 µA Physical Weight 15.1 oz / 428.09 g
